The Springboard Charity & Springboard UK are two distinct organisations, working interdependently to reach the shared goals of promoting the hospitality industry and helping unemployed people get into work. Springboard was founded in 1990 by Springboard’s Life President, Stephen Moss CBE, with a mission to change perceptions of the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.
Springboard’s award-winning employability programmes, pioneering educational programmes and comprehensive careers services unite the goals of the charity and the business by working with people who face barriers to employment and lifting them out of poverty while providing a link to reputable employers. By delivering training and guidance to beneficiaries, Springboard are creating a healthy pipeline of talent to the hospitality industry, tackling the critical skills shortages while promoting it as a career of choice.
